Port of Singapore

In terms of shipping tonnage handled, the Port of Singapore is the largest port in the world. Furthermore the port has the position of largest hub for transshipment traffic and  the biggest bunkering hub in the world. Concerning cargo tonnage Singapore is behind Shanghai.


The Port of Singapore is currently under construction and will be released as add-on for Ship Simulator Professional.

The Port of Rotterdam is the largest port in Europe. With large oil refineries located west of the city, the petrochemical industry is an important part of the ports activities.

The port of Marseille has historically been the port of the French Empire, linking the North African colonies of Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia with the French mainland. Today, the port stills plays an important role in Marseille, serving as both a commercial container port as well as a transport port for the Mediterranean sea. While the modern day port activities take place along the coast at the New Port, the Belgian Quay in the Old Port is used for the daily fish market, where the daily catch plays center stage in Marseille\'s culinary traditions.

The Hamburg Harbour is a deep water port located on the river Elbe in Hamburg, Germany. Hamburg Harbour handled 7 million containers in 2004, making it the largest sea-harbour in Germany, the second largest in Europe and ninth largest worldwide.

The Solent is a stretch of sea separating the Isle of Wight from the mainland of Britain. It is a great place for yachting. It is sheltered by the Isle of Wight and has a very complex tidal pattern. The ports of Southampton and Portsmouth lay on its shores. Spithead, an area off Gilkicker Point near Gosport, is well known as the place where the monarch reviews the Royal Navy. This stretch of water is amongst the most expensive waters in the world to cross by ferry.

Dover is the closest English port to the European mainland, just at 34 kilometers away from France. The Port of Dover is Englands most important  cross-channel port and one of Europe\'s largest pasenger ports. It\'s the fastest and most frequent sea crossings to France with over 55 return sailings, 24 hours a day. The gradual development of the port throughout the centuries has produced the vast artificial harbour of to-day, with depths of water up to 10.5 metres and accommodation for shipping up to 300 metres in length. The total area is approximately 1050 acres, of which 700 is water.

New York Harbour is a geographic term that refers to the bays and tidal estuaries near the mouth of the Hudson and bordering rivers near New York City. In a narrower sense, the term is sometimes taken to refer specifically to Upper New York Bay.

San Francisco Bay is a shallow estuary through which water flowing from the Sierra Nevada mountains through the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers enters the Pacific Ocean. San Francisco Bay is located in the US state of California. The bay is surrounded by the region known as the San Francisco Bay Area, dominated by the cities of San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose.

Padstow is a charming fishing town and port on the north coast of Cornwall, England. It is located about a half mile inland of open sea thus it is well sheltered in the mouth of the camel estuary. Padstow has many beautiful coves and bays that can be visited with ease.
